Tips Promoting Products as an Affiliate #4

Well, here we are at the final week of Barry’s Video Challenge  Too Sad

In this challenge, I’ve been showing a series of videos on ‘Tips Promoting Products as an Affiliate’ and if you haven’t already, you can following the links below to watch

Part I
Part II and
Part III

The tools I’ve been using over this past month to create these wonderful videos are:

Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 – writing the presentation.  Okay, I had a coupon and with this I got Microsoft 2010.  If you haven’t already got Microsoft Office, there is no need to go out and buy it, you can use OpenOffice.org, which is Free to download, or Google Docs to do your presentations.
CamStudio - for recording – Free
Windows Live Movie Maker – putting it all together into a movie like presentation, again Free download

Along with playing around with these programs myself, trying to figure out how to use them (sometimes manuals can be quite confusing), I’ve picked up some great tips from Barry’s PowerPoint and Ian’s Movie Making tutorials.   These two will cost you.  But don’t worry, you won’t need your credit-card, only your time to leave a nice comment Wink

Okay, press play for Part IV

Hope you enjoyed that and even perhaps found something helpful you could use.  Do let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Thanks for stopping by.

Until next time, bye for now

Tips Promoting Products as an Affiliate #3

Hello and thanks for stopping by. Here we are at the third week of Barry Wells Internet Marketing Video Challenge, and what a challenge it’s been.  I’ve not yet got around to all the participants but what I have seen so far, has been terrific.  Barry has a post here where he’s put up each challengers link and if you haven’t already, I highly recommend you take a look.

So, in this series I’ve been looking at ‘Tips Promoting Products as an Affiliate’ and here below is part three.  Time to press play …

I hope you enjoyed my presentation, again, thanks for watching and do let me know your thoughts by leaving your comments.

Until next week – Keep Smiling :-)

Tips Promoting Products as an Affiliate #2

Hello and here we are at video number 2 of Barry Wells’ An Internet Marketing Video Challenge and Everyone is Invited.  Before we start with part 2, I’d like to direct your attention for a moment to the topic we opened about ‘Landing Pages’ in part 1.

During the past week I came across a couple of posts which will emphasize the point I made and the importance of having ‘Landing Pages’.  One being a perfect example of a product review write-up on a blog post by Mr Wells himself and the results received from that post, you can read what Barry has to say here

And, Pauline Bennett has written a great article which details to you the whys and hows of using Squeeze Pages as your Landing Page.  (And she has a great little give-away there for you as well).

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know and prove a point, I don’t always waffle on for no purpose. ;-)

Okay, here’s the links I mentioned:  Adrienne Smith’s post, with some interesting statistics on video viewing and Steve King’s post showing a perfect example of a product video tour.

That’s it folks for this week, until then, do share this content using the social buttons below and let us know what you have to say by leaving your comment.

Bye for Now

Tips Promoting Products as an Affiliate #1

Well, here it is, the first video of a series of four for Barry Wells’ Leap Year Challenge he’s hosting – An Internet Marketing Video Challenge and Everyone is Invited.

I decided on the topic ‘Tips Promoting Products as an Affiliate’ as this ties in with a little site project I’m working on and it’s the things I’ve learnt along the way.

I did put some cute little graphs in, as it does take the plainness away and makes it a bit more interesting but for some reason my system then had problems saving the audio.  So, took them out.

I’ve put on video a power-point presentation I put together, the quality of the sound is good, only the volume is up and down.  The first and last slide is rather laud but you will need high volume for the ones in between – they’re a little quieter.  Oh, one of these days I’ll get it right. :-?

Thanks again for watching, do leave your comments and I hope to see you again next week.

Poor and Rich

I had this presentation sent to me and thought it was just wonderful.  A father takes his son on a short break as he wanted to show him how poor people live.  Perhaps in the hope the child would learn to appreciate what he has and know how lucky his is.

Rich people, poor people, through the eyes of a child.

I’ll leave you with your thoughts – which of course you can share with us.
