Don’t like having problems and errors, but if they’re there and one doesn’t know about it, it could have some bad effects – Yes, it is nice when people drop those little notes letting us know.

I did feel pretty good afterwards Barry, it was quite an accomplishment. I do think sometimes, (painful as it may be! ) that it is a good idea to at least try and find out the ‘what’ and ‘how’ first and take it from there then to see whether you yourself can fix it or not. I was pretty lucky that it wasn’t a major problem and was easily solved.

Good idea writing down ones changes, there’s the first place to tackle.

It’s nice to know that others are watching out for us isn’t it? I recently had an issue that kept triggering an auto script with Hostgator and it kept shutting my blog down. 3 times in 48hrs and i wanted to scream

Fair play to you for stepping in and giving it a go to fix it yourself. I bet you felt good when you’d solved it

One thing I do is make notes of changes I make, so if anything happens down the road and goes messes up I can look back and see what changes I made.

I always get a rush of panic when any error shows up on me, then realizing, that does not help and will not fix the problem, I calm down and see what can be done. And it can be a lost feeling if you have no idea and nowhere to go for help. I was lucky, well not that I got the error, lucky that it was easily detected and just as easily to fix.

Hope you get that twitterfeed problem sorted, I don’t even know what you mean by ‘my feed will not phase’!! Perhaps I’ll have a little search myself and find out.

Oh, I know what you mean by ‘Ouch’. After reading down the list of 50 in Richard Davies’ article, I had much the same thought. Okay, there are a few that weren’t written when I was a kid, but there is also those that were and haven’t read.

From the 10 listed here, I have read 6, but – 4 of those being just recently and only because my kids had to read them at school.

I’m an avid reader but I have not read any of these books except for The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
We actually had a cartoon series that we as kids watched all the time growing up.

I am very much the same, when working on something, I get engrossed in it and tend to leave other things aside (on and off line!), I need to remind myself to allocate time to continue those regular tasks.

If you’re just new at affiliate promoting Avator, you really should take your time and start with one product. When you get good at what you’re doing, then you can start adding on. As for new product launches, even when you are good, it is a good idea to only promote one at a time to your subscribers or it gets too confusing and really does look as if you’re just out to ‘sell’ something with no interest or regard for them.

Yes, the challenge was super. I’ve got Barry’s challenge page bookmarked as I’m sure I’ll be referring to it many times.

I am so pleased you’ve picked up some tips from my videos. It really is a good idea to have a landing page for promoting products separate from your blog – (of course, keeping the links on your blog). Alot of the time you’ll find your readers come to read your posts, where your landing page(s), people land there because they’re usually looking for something – a product or service.

If you’ve a few products to promote, it can be alot of work setting up landing pages for each one, I know what you mean there. I’m looking at setting up a site/blog which will be my landing page for all products I use. A ‘product review’ site rather than making separate pages for each. I am no techie and I do get frustrated sometime working ‘behind the screen’ on things, so the less the better.

Well, as I said to Adrienne and Barry, your videos help me alot. I was able to take tips each time and use them to make my next one. I even noticed myself, the flow of things improved in each one.

Sometimes I look at the pre-written emails and think, ‘how can I improve this?’ But like you say, it’s just a matter of rewriting it – not to improve or change the message, only so that it’s written (or typed) in your own hand, so to speak.
